A Post Dedicated to Lauren Spierer

I was reading on the news about Lauren Spierer, a 20 year old student from Indiana University, who is also a New Yorker, and who disappeared in early June. I've read updates on her story that she is still missing and her parents are desperately searching for her. This is one of the articles that I found online that talks about the lack of information in regards to what exactly happened the night Lauren disappeared?

http://www.lohud.com/article/20110626/NEWS01/106260388/Lauren-Spierer-search-nets-few-leads

So I wanted to say that my heart goes out to her parents. I checked on youtube for videos and heard her parents speak about her. And it's so moving and so sad, and it bothers me that those who may actually know what happened to her would not speak. How can they do that to her parents, to her dad, to her mom?  I'm very upset about the fact that her own friends would rather get lawyers than talk to Lauren's parents. How can they leave her parents to be in such agony and for so long? It's so inhumane.

I hope Lauren will be found soon and she will be reunited with her family.
